Prayers for our World
O Lord, our God, how wonderful your name is throughout all the earth! We come before you in awe, recognising the majesty and beauty that you reveal in creation and in every aspect of our lives.
We lift our prayers to the Triune God, seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit. With hearts open, we ask for wisdom and direction as we strive to follow your will.
We yearn to transcend the boundaries that separate us, coming together in praise of a God who brings transformation to our world. We pray that our eyes may be opened to Christ’s mysterious presence among us, recognising how He is at work in our everyday lives and in the lives of those around us.
Risen Lord, you offer us your peace, as one who has been vulnerable and wounded. Risen Lord, you invite us to be born from above and to live in God’s reign of justice, peace, and love.
 Upholding Values Through Faith
Through faith and perseverance, let us remain steadfast in upholding the values of kindness and justice. In doing so, we strive for harmony and the flourishing of our world, our Communities , ensuring that all our undertakings promote unity and wellbeing for every person. May our faith inspire us to act justly and kindly, working together for the common good and the greater glory of God.

The World Day of Prayer is an international ecumenical Christian laywomen’s initiative. It is run under the motto
Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action, and is celebrated annually in over 170 countries on the first Friday in March.
The movement aims to bring together women of various races, cultures, and traditions in a yearly common Day of Prayer,
as well as in closer fellowship, understanding, and action throughout the year.
