Jan PeddersenVictorian President
Jan officially became a member of the Victorian World Day of Prayer Committee in 2012, representing the Bible Society in Victoria. Shortly after joining the Committee she took on the task of Minute Secretary, followed by Secretary and Vice President, before accepted the role of President in August 2015.
However, for some years prior to joining the Committee she also acted as the Bible Society’s national liaison with WDP, producing the WDP Project videos, speaking at WDP events, and promoting WDP through her Bible Society contacts.
Recently retired from her 21 years of Bible Society ministry in Church and Community Relations, Jan continues to share her passion for God’s Word, and desire to engage many more people in meaningful prayer through WDP events.
Diane WookeyVictorian Secretary
Di officially became a member of the Victorian World Day of Prayer Committee in October 2015, representing the Uniting Church in Australia, and taking up the position of Secretary.
Prior to joining the Committee she has been coordinating the WDP services for the Merlynston/Fawkner District since 2014.
Since retiring from teaching (Secondary) in 2011, she has been actively involved in her local church as well as the wider community.
Marilyn AireyVictorian Treasurer
Anglican, Member of St David’s, Moorabbin. Strong upbringing of family life.
Teaches Sunday school, involved within the church in many roles from Young Wives to Caritas, Mother Union – Church, Deanery, Diocese. Church stewardship, intercessor, reading, communion, fellowship, Parish Treasurer in past.
Education in Ministry- 4 year course, co-hosted a group in the Ballarat Diocese.
Cub leader, Inner Wheel Women part of rotary completing Club, District Chairman – Australia, and many Australian & International Conferences.
Family – three sons, five grandchildren, husband John. Actively involved within the community in many ways.
