A Salvation Army Officer, Ordained and Commissioned in 1956, I attended my first World Day of Prayer Service in that year at Broken Hill NSW. The theme of the service that year was ‘There will be One Flock – One Shepherd’.
Over the following years I have been involved either by attendance, organizing or speaking at World Day of Prayer Services.
In 1995 I joined the Queensland State Committee as the SA representative and in 1997 became the Secretary of that Committee, resigning from that position in August 2013.
I married in 1958, was widowed in 1983. I have 4 children and 9 Grandchildren.
My hobbies are gardening, cross stitching, crocheting and knitting.
For exercise and enjoyment I play Croquet!
