Major Kathleen White

SA President

Kathleen White has been a Salvation Army officer for 27 years, with appointments in country Victoria (Orbost), Melbourne, Papua New Guinea and South Australia. She is married to Denis and they have 4 adult children, two who are married (no grandchildren yet!) and two still at home attending university. Kathleen enjoys craft, reading, poetry, bushwalking and family pursuits. She is also studying towards a Bachelor of Counselling. In her current appointment as a chaplain at the law courts, there are many opportunities to support people in crisis. Her passions include seeing people come to a transforming faith in Jesus Christ and highlighting issues of social justice both in Australia and overseas. She is excited about her new role on the World Day of Prayer committee and is eager to see what God is going to do in Cameroon as the country of focussed prayer and action!

Noreen Kitchen

I attend the Flinders Park Church of Christ, where I have been an Elder for 6 years. Other activities include involvement with the Women’s Christian Fellowship and since moving to Campbelltown, attend bible study at The Reformed Christian Church. I am a widow, have two sons, one daughter and five wonderful grandchildren. Now retired, I was a Director of Nursing and Site Manager for a hostel, nursing home, independent living units and home options programs. Currently I am a volunteer at Travellers Aid. My main interests are reading, gardening and following my grand-children to calisthenics, football and soccer.

Lorraine Rodert

SA Treasurer

Lorraine was appointed, in 1993, by the Presbyterian Women’s Association of South Australia (PWA).Other appointments have been to the National Council of Women SA where she served on the Executive as the Hansard Reader. Liaison to the Australian Church Women SA Unit, where she is involved as a Trustee on the J150 Trust. A former State President of the PWA she is also the State Treasurer and Treasurer/Secretary of the State Standing Committees. Lorraine has been involved with her church as a Board Member and is President/Secretary of the Women’s Missionary Union.
